The Mosman Design Awards are held every two years by Mosman Council to celebrate outstanding contributions to the built environment and heritage conservation in Mosman.

Since 2009 the Awards have continued to gain popularity and prestige due to the high quality of entrants and our panel of expert judges. Our objectives are to:

• Promote excellence in urban design and heritage conservation
• Recognise positive contributions to the streetscape
• Recognise sympathetic conservation of heritage items and buildings within heritage conservation areas
• Increase community awareness of high quality development

The 2025 awards will be open to all residents, architects, designers and builders who have completed works since January 2023.

Nominations are open until 18 July 2025. At the conclusion of the nomination period our panel of esteemed judges will shortlist properties the best properties to visit in August 2025. After visiting all shortlisted properties our architects will decide on the overall winner as well as any runner ups.

The community will have their chance to get involved by voting for their favourite nomination in the People’s Choice Awards.

Winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 9 September 2025.
